First Look Moodboard
Each month, we ask our designers to create a First Look Moodboard for their favourite celebrity.
So, Milray Park designer Julianne Bull designed a living room fit for Hollywood-based Aussie actress Rose Byrne.
“Beautiful, funny and super talented Rose Byrne is one of Australia’s most popular actors. Despite her success and glamorous New York lifestyle she remains pretty down to earth.
The living room I’ve created for Rose is Bohemian Contemporary. Creating a space that sits well with the Australian landscape and the way we live is important to all of us.
The furniture is relaxed and functional. Velvet adds a sense of luxury but is also super comfortable which is especially important when you’re choosing a sofa. A soft rug underfoot and natural materials define the bohemian look. Simple ceramic accessories and plants are a must for this style, as is the bright hit of colour on the half painted wall.
I chose the simple oversized paper pendant to add scale and one large photographic artwork to tie the room together.”
