Approach to design
As an interior designer I am always curious about the processes of design and how we both interact with and react to design and whether it achieves the intended outcome. Pattern, texture and colours always forms a strong platform on which to work; it is being able to problem solve within constraints that allows creative thinking to really take shape and exciting outcomes to materialise.
Having completed a Diploma of Commercial Arts-Interior Design in 2011 through CATC Sydney Campus, I have established my own interior design studio Trentini Design. Responsible for all aspects of the business operations including client relations, proposals, presentations, planning and design, selection of materials and finishes as well as overseeing the daily operations including accounting, marketing and social media. I have proven skills in design development, planning, specifications, documentation, sourcing and project management. More recently I have completed a number of furniture sourcing projects where all communications were completed via electronic means. I also have extensive work experience in my current role with Open Colleges as a Contract Trainer and Assessor in the Diploma of Interior Design. This work is completed all via electronic means contributing to my ability to undertake online work projects.
